AN EASY ALL-AMERICAN HOT DOG BAR IDEA FOR MEMORIAL DAY

A hot dog toppings bar for Memorial day or any Patriotic holiday – is the perfect way to celebrate with family and friends. Turn your backyard into a fun-filled hot dog grill fest. A make-your-own hot-dog station is a simple way to serve a crowd.

I set up a buffet table dedicated to this cookout classic – this saves tabletop space on the dining table. A separate food and drink station also allows guests to easily help themselves to whatever they like at any time. Offer an assortment of toppings and condiments for your guests to build their ultimate hot dog. I found these recipe ideas and created a hot dog recipe card – it’s a great way to welcome folks to try different toppings on their hot dog. When setting up your hot dog bar, place hot dogs and buns on a platter and organize condiments and toppings in bowls.

  • 3 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. Yellow Mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

  2. In a small saucepan add water and eggs and bring to a boil for about 12 minutes. Drain hot water and add cold water - this will make peeling the eggs easier. Chop the egg and set aside.
