MY THEMED SPRING EASTER TABLESCAPE OF RENEWAL AND GROWTH

If you’ve had the chance to read my latest blog post, you’ll know that this Lenten season has brought about a profound sense of renewal for me. That served as the guiding inspiration behind crafting this Easter tablescape. My aim was to embody the dining room with the essence of spring, incorporating organic elements that evoke growth and renewal.

I was specific on the types of blooms I wanted for the table centerpiece. Flowers that I selected from our local florist consist of Queen Anne’s Lace, Scabiosa Scoop, Astrantia, Chamomile, Tuilips, and Stock. I aimed for the flowers to exude a natural, flourishing appearance as if they had sprung from the earth itself. To achieve this effect, I laid out a grass table runner and delicately layered preserved moss atop it. I concealed the vessel with the moss. To infuse the centerpiece with a touch of spring and Easter spirit, I adorned it with colored eggs and scattered charming bunny figurines throughout.

In setting the table, I opted for a clean and elegant aesthetic, starting with a crisp white tablecloth. Atop of the table linen, I placed wicker placemats for a casual touch, followed by dinner plates featuring a woven design reminiscent of Easter baskets. Adding a layer of whimsy, I then topped each setting with egg-shaped plates adorned with charming bunny motifs. To provide an extra special treat for our guests, I included a decorative bird nest at each place setting, complete with a couple of Cadbury chocolate eggs for them to enjoy.

In my quest for an eye-catching display on our buffet cabinet, I ventured into our backyard and discovered the only tree that had begun to bloom with vibrant greenery. I cut several tall branches and anchored them on either side of buffet. To enhance the lushness of each arrangement, I incorporated faux spring branches sourced from our local nursery, they are remarkably realistic in appearance! Additionally, I included two smaller arrangements: one featuring faux baby’s breath stems, and the other adorned with mini burs and fern stems.

Amidst the array of sweet treats displayed on the buffet, it’s essential to acknowledge the true significance of Easter. Therefore, prominently positioned at the forefront are three Metal Standing Crosses, symbolizing the core of our celebration.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and found inspiration from it. Wishing you and yours a peaceful and blessed Easter!
