Cauliflower wasn’t always my favorite vegetable growing up but now as an adult, I enjoy eating them – especially, oven-roasted with garlic, parmesan, and olive oil. Then, I was introduced to mashed cauliflower and it became one of favorite veggies to cook with! I’ve been hearing all about cauliflower pizza crust as the healthier alternative and since I’m always keeping my eyes out for guilt-free recipes, I decided to give it try!

When it comes to pizza cravings, my go-to favorite is a classic Margherita pizza! Plum, ripe tomatoes, flavorful sauce, the chewy mozzarella, sprinkled with fresh basil…so good! I decided to give cauliflower crust a try and picked up Green Giant Tuscan flavor cauliflower crust. This easy 4-ingredient recipe is low calorie, without sacrificing taste. Here are the ingredients I used:

  • Green Giant Cauliflower Pizza Crust, Tuscan
  • Delallo Italian Pizza Sauce
  • Mozzarella marinated in White Truffle Oil
  • Fresh Plum ripe tomatoes
  • Fresh sprigs of Basil

MARGHERITA PIZZA WITH CAULIFLOWER CRUST

To bake this pizza, you will need to follow the instructions on the box first. It will require you to preheat the oven and bake the crust for a certain amount of time. Once the time is up, take the crust out of the oven and add your toppings and bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For the garnish, add the basil, serve hot and enjoy!
