Happy Friday, friends! We got back from New Jersey late yesterday afternoon and all went well with the appointment with the Radiologist Oncologist. We talked about my upcoming radiation treatment but I’ll speak more on that on a seperate post. My spouse surprised me last night with a Valentine’s day gift to see John Mayer in concert! I was thrilled to say the least. We are actually going to see Michael Bublé in concert next week Friday – which was one of my Christmas gifts! Super excited and looking forward to seeing both singers in concert!
We are keeping our weekend plans low key since we are pretty tired from our drive to and from NJ. I’ll most likely get back to our guest bedroom makeover project. I’ve been keeping my eye out for decor pieces. During my recent trip to HomeGoods, I scored two favorite finds (shown in the pics above) that caught my eye. I fell in love with the design details of the silver decorative tray with its gold handles and gold bird accent. While the tray can be used to hold a variety of items, I knew right away I wanted to use it to hold tissues and have it displayed on one of the nightstands in our bedroom. The other home decor item I found was the white and gold cake stand. I was tempted to use it to hold my bottles of perfumes but I decided to use it elsewhere. It’s definitely a pretty stand to serve a decorated cake on but it’s also too pretty not to use it to display something else in the home!
