4th of July Dessert: INDIVIDUAL RASPBERRY & BROWNIE TRIFLES WITH MARSHMALLOW FLUFF

4th of July dessert

While this version of my patriotic dessert may not have any blue in it, the combination of red raspberries and white marshmallow fluff make these all-american brownies a yummy trifle treat!

Another way to serve a brownie is by using a star-shaped cookie cutter. Take a paper straw, cut in half and insert in the middle of the star-shaped brownie. Then take a marshmallow and poke it through the same straw and you have a cute way to display your individual brownie treats!

These individual raspberry and brownie trifles are simple to make!

  • Follow the directions on the box to bake your brownies
  • When the brownies are baked, remove from oven and let cool to room temperature
  • Cut your brownie into bite-size cubes
  • Take a dessert tumbler cup or a parfait glass and layer the bottom of the glass with a few brownie cubes, add marshmallow fluff as your second layer, end with fresh raspberries as your third layer and repeat. You will end with a scoop of marshmallow fluff and a raspberry.

Note: I used a spoon to scoop out the marshmallow fluff but hindsight, I wonder if using a piping bag would have made it easier and less messy due to the marshmallow fluff being a bit sticky.

I think its safe to say that if you have kids and they love S’mores, they may love this too!

Enjoy!
