Pound Cake with Swirly Decorated Fresh Whipped Cream: NO BAKE VALENTINE’S DAY DESSERT

There are so many decadent Valentine’s desserts to choose from when deciding what to bake. If you plan on having a cozy dinner for two at home and you would like to whip up something that shows effort but is not time consuming, then you will enjoy making my ‘No Bake Valentine’s Day Dessert”!

No Bake Valentine's Day Dessert

I am by all means, not a baker but I do like to have fun with creating dessert ideas. To make and assemble this dessert, I used the following items:

  • Sara Lee All Butter Pound Cake
  • 1 1/2″ heart cookie cutter (you can purchase here)
  • Food Ring Mold (you can purchase here)
  • Fresh Raspberries, Fresh Mint leaves and powdered sugar, for garnishing

To make the homemade whipped cream, follow this recipe:

  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
  • 1/3 cup Confectioners Sugar
  • 2-3 drops, Red Food Coloring

Add all the above ingredients in a chilled clean bowl of a stand mixer and whisk on high speed until medium peaks form. Spoon the whipped cream in a pastry piping bag with your desired pastry decorating tip or spoon the whipped cream in a small zip lock bag and cut the tip off at the lowest point in order to create the funfetii swirly pattern you see in my pictures. End by piping a little message on your heart like “Love“.

It’s all about having fun so design away! Have fun creating your version!
