EASTER DECORATING TO BRIGHTEN UP OUR HOME DURING CORONAVIRUS QUARANTINE

Easter in Bloom

The Easter holiday will soon be here in less than a few weeks. As many of us are adjusting to this new normal of staying at home and social distancing, I was reminded that between spring and Easter, this is a rebirth and the reason for the season remains the same.

I wanted to bring in the Easter sprit by digging up my Easter decor bin and brighten up our living room. I refreshed this main space in our home with items I already owned as well as new pieces, purchased a few months ago.

The spring-themed style for the living room is ‘Easter in Bloom’. From the pink and white florals and floral easter egg decor pieces, to the adorable bunnies, and spring-inspired Easter decor fireplace mantel. I hope today’s post will inspire you to keep the spirit of Easter alive by refreshing your home with decor pieces you already own. It may just cheer you up!

SPRING AND EASTER COFFEE TABLE DECOR

Since I’ve been in self-quarantine, I have not ventured outdoors to stores. So luckily, I had faux flowers to decorate with. I started out by decorating our ottoman tray first. I used a combination of pink and white faux hydrangeas to create a pastel floral arrangement, using a white Orion flower pot.

A few months back, I had purchased these oh so pretty, Easter egg decor pieces, adorned with flowers. I added a spring-inspired coaster set that is embellished with a tiny butterfly. To add more of the ‘Easter in Bloom’ vibe, I added a gold flower decor piece and used it as a tray by placing a light pink scented candle on it.

Coffee table books are great for styling so I incorporated book covers that color coordinated with the rest of the decor items on the ottoman tray. A gold and white storage box was added for height and a layered effect.

EASTER DECOR STYLING FOR YOUR FIREPLACE MANTEL

The ‘Easter in Bloom’ theme continued onto the fireplace mantel. I added floral garlands that I had previously used for styling a Valentine’s day bar cart and as a runner for my sister’s birthday tablescape…it’s so versatile for any spring occasion! I layered the floral garland with two ceramic white and gold bunnies on either side of the mantel. I completed the look by adding this festive gold metal Happy Easter banner.

Since I had quite a few of pink and white faux hydrangea stems, I was able to create a second flower arrangement for one of the side tables. An adorable white bunny adorned with a tiny pink flower bloom was the perfect compliment to this look.

Normally, I would have Easter Egg candies displayed in a serving bowl but since I have cut down on sugar, I instead added pistachios to this cute white and gold bunny snack bowl.

Easter Egg Decor

A floral arrangement filled with faux pink peonies in a ginger jar and a pretty Easter egg, embellished with pink blooms adorned our other side table.
