SURVIVING THE CORONAVIRUS – WE ARE IN IT TOGETHER, LET’S DO THIS

Hi friends! It was on this post, I shared my thoughts in light of the unfortunate tragedies that is happening in the world today. It is no doubt, this is a fearful time for all of us. With such uncertainty of COVID-19 and how it is rapidly evolving, we are here just taking one day at a time. We are keeping positive and remain in faith. I hope you and your families are in good health and are safe.

There are so many of us who have loved ones that we cannot see or visit. I worry about my dad who is elderly and has underlying health issues. For myself, we have to resort to finding another affiliated hospital in another city that has fewer coronavirus cases in order for me to get my monthly cancer treatments. Thankfully, we found one but regardless, we will still ensure that we are being very cautious. It is so important that we do the right thing…The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus and take precautionary steps to protect ourselves and others.

If you, friends of yours, or someone in your family is in the medical field, is a service member, or has an essential city service job, or is a volunteer…I know this is not enough but THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! May we be good and kind to each other, practice social distancing, look out for the elderly, stay home (if you can) and we can get through this!

As we all face this challenging time globally, I rounded up several links that may help with finding ways to find that calmness you need, distract you for a bit, and/or inspire you with life and home. During my days spent at home, I’ll be trying out new recipes and redecorating here and there. To keep things light, happy and filled with inspiration, I will try to keep doing and sharing joyful things, here on the blog .

Sending love and well-wishes for everyone. Stay safe!
