I swoon over stylish home decor accents and how they can brighten up spaces in a home! Decor accessories truly gives rooms a visual appeal. I believe your decorated home should reflect your taste and personality…expressing your style. When we arrived back home on Monday, I was excited to unpack a few new home decor accents I purchased. Today, I’m sharing what those home decor accents are and which room I placed them in.
When it comes to our ottoman tray in the living room, I often swap out whatever vase is there. Depending on the look I want to achieve and the flower arrangement I want to create, I will choose a vase according to that. I own a variety of vases in different shapes and sizes but this fluted glass vase from CB2 with its outer oval opening caught my eye. The glass ridges on the vase is so unique and elegant. I love how the wide you can make a floral arrangement in this vase!
I added two of these Camden Tealight candle holders from Z Gallerie. I love the combination of the brass base and the white opaque color. It will look so pretty when lit in the evening, casting a soft glow on the top of shelf in the living room.
I found this white decorative vase from HomeGoods and placed it on a chest located in the upper level hallway. Ideally, it’s not a piece you can add fresh flowers due to the large openings so I placed faux cherry blossom branches inside. However, if I did want to add fresh flowers – a tip would be to insert a glass cylinder vase inside the larger vase – wink, wink! I think this vase would also make a great candle holder too! Insert a tall pillar candle and voila – dual purpose vase indeed!
My first attraction to this porcelain pot is its 3-D rib curved design. I love how the texture looks sculptural. This Celia White Vase is also another purchase from CB2. It’s the perfect size to house on our accent side table.
I can never have too many storage boxes – especially marble ones with a gold handle, like this one I found at HomeGoods. I placed this white marble box on top of the side table in our bedroom. Inside, I placed matches so that I can easily light my scented candle in the evening hours.
