Christmas Cheers!
Welcome to Part 2 of our Christmas Home Tour! Today, I’m sharing how I decorated our dining room for the Christmas holiday. Did you happen to catch last night’s post, where I shared a few sneak peek photos of today’s post? The theme for the dining room is ‘A Gilded Christmas’, glowing in Copper & Gold – much different from last year’s ‘Snowy White Christmas’ theme. Between the champagne gold glitter dinnerware I found at HomeGoods, the sparkling votive candle holders from ZGallerie, and the shiny ball ornaments, the table centerpiece definitely takes center stage, as the candles emit a golden glow throughout!
Believe it or not, I’ve already added a couple of more things to the table and swapped out a string of garland on the buffet table for another. I guess it’s the decorator in me…always changing things up! Do you find yourself doing the same thing too? I’ll be sharing another post next week of the changes I made to this dining room and you will be able to view the room in full daylight.
To light up our holiday tablescape in the most beautiful sparkling way, I used four different types of votive candle holders. I used this Victoria Votive, this set of Bella Votive holders, these Halo Votives, and this gold Votive Cup Set. Then I draped this clear & gold berry coiled garland in between the candle holders.
How adorable are these Bow Napkin Rings from Sugar Paper holiday collection?! For a special touch, I added a stem of Dusty Miller and berries. The dinner napkins were a find from HomeGoods that I had purchased last year, at the end of the season and never used them.
Christmas Cheers! We purchased this backdrop ‘Cheers’ wall sign three years ago and I thought it would be a perfect display on the accent wall for our Gilded-themed dining room.
Press for Champagne and let it flow! Adjacent to our faux flocked Christmas tree is our champagne styled bar cart. It’s dressed with this Let It Flow Kitchen Towel, chocolate truffles on a marble platter, champagne toasting flutes (similar ones found here and here), and Merry and Bright gold-foil stamp beverage napkins found at HomeGoods (similar ones found here and here).
