Hello, friends! Two weeks feels like forever since I’ve posted on my blog. If you follow me on Instagram, then you are pretty caught up on what I’ve been doing. For those that are new here or haven’t visited in a while, I thought I would write a post on my life lately. On February 27th, I underwent radiation treatments to treat one of the larger tumors on my liver. I’ll be sharing more details in tomorrow’s post about my experience but currently I’m done with treatments and I’m taking it easy. Faique and sour stomach are two of the main side effects I’m dealing with – looking forward to feeling back to my old self soon.
The Blog…
I take the moments of a day where I have energy to tackle some of the things I need and want to get done. One of those things I was able to accomplish was to refresh my bulletin boards with new inspiration for the spring season. Not only do mood boards inspire me but they also keep me organized and focused when coming up with post ideas for the blog. So look out for fresh content in the coming days, just in time for upcoming spring holidays!
While I was in our office, I also cleaned my desk. A clean desk helps me to keep organized and productive, while a messy and cluttered one makes my mind feel the same! Do you find this to be true for you too?
With spring only being ten days away, I couldn’t help but to add this faux peony bush floral arrangement on top of my mirrored tray! Randi of Randi Garrett Design has the best recommendations! I rounded up her faux florals favorites – you can see them, here. These peonies will be in full rotation around the house during the spring and summer months but for right now, I love how they look right here on my desk.
Launch of online store…
In light of my cancer treatments, we had to postpone the launch of our online shop but we are targeting late spring for the launch of DBO Home! Fingers crossed that my health condition remains stable so that we can keep to the targeted time frame. I’ve been adding to our inventory by curating a nice selection of decor and entertaining pieces. I’m looking forward to shooting the pieces and sharing some peeks with you all!
