Between jewelry, makeup, skincare, perfume, and hair accessories, there’s a lot to keep organized and have it easily accessible when getting ready. All while keeping it styled beautifully and functional. This past weekend, I made a couple of changes to the top of my makeup vanity with some similar items you may have in your home.

A Cake Stand

I swapped out the gold mirrored tray that held my perfume bottles for a decorative vintage cake stand that I found a few years ago while antiquing. The cake stand is a perfect way to organize and display your favorite scents! I also like the height it gives to the center of my vanity. Cake stands are essential, multi-purpose pieces that can be used for a variety of things for your vanity such as holding nail polishes or essential oils. If you don’t have a dedicated vanity, you can jazz up the bathroom counter by displaying a 2 or 3-tier cake stand to hold a few of your favorite go-to beauty items.
