Happy Friday, friends!
It’s been a bit quiet here on the blog this week and I’ve got reasons for it. If you follow me on instagram, you may have seen in my stories, a few peeks inside our guest room. We are giving our guest room a makeover! I’ve been working on the design and carefully selecting each piece that will go in there that will coordinate well with the existing pieces I plan on keeping. Stay tuned, I will be sharing the reveal sometime in the month of May! I’ve also been working on a couple of inspiration posts to share…A ‘Cinco de Mayo tablescape to include food and a signature cocktail’, as well as a ‘Mother’s day tablescape’. Be on the lookout for those!
On a personal note, next week we will find out if the radiation treatments I had three months ago, helped in shrinking the tumors in my abdomen. Finger crossed and many prayers that the CT scan will show, it did!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and now to share a couple of favorite finds from my recent trip to HomeGoods…
You may recall, I had purchased these gold brass planters to hold my herbs. I also purchased these large herb markers but they didn’t carry all the herbs, just four. Luckily, I found this adorable set of plant markers that include oregano, basil, cilantro, rosemary, parsley, and sage. I think they would make a great Mother’s day gift for the woman in your life you likes to plant herbs.
HomeGoods has fully stocked their shelves with outdoor decor, entertaining essentials, and garden decor. I picked up an oversized planter bowl. It’s a beautiful white ceramic bowl, that is designed with a brush of the color blue. It’s a great piece to style on your outdoor patio or deck with a floral plant inside or even as a decor piece in the interior of your home. I like how I styled it on our Etagere shelf but I think I like it better on our console table that holds our faux peonies!
