Anytime I feel uninspired and need a jolt of inspiration, I’ll take a trip to a few of my favorite stores and peruse around the aisles. I recently visited Michael’s and noticed lots of new collections added to their shelves.
The first thing I did was check out there latest spring collection, which included this beautiful gold marble candle jar – it literally stopped me in my tracks. You know how much I adore pretty candle packing! The fragrance of this Magnolia & Pear Marble Glaze Candle by Ashland is light, with a hint of sweet and a touch of floral.
I was surprised by the wall of party goods and essentials Michael’s now has stocked on their shelves by the Celebrate It line! From a pack of 40 plastic wine glasses to gold assorted cutlery and these mini gold forks and spoons – perfect to use for appetizers and tasting parties. Something else that caught my eye was an aisle filled with Martha Stewart Celebrations. Organized by color and theme, the products ranged from party supplies and decorations to party favors and table top and serving accessories. She makes it easier for you to organize a party!
I enjoy picking up unique and festive partyware essentials. Straws are on those items so I got these fun Indigo Printed Plastic Straws, adorned with cute coral colored tassels. Another favorite I picked up are these Black and White Printed Plastic Straws. They’re adorned with gold disc embellishments that read the word Cheers.
