Today I gathered white cherry blossoms, snowball v Today I gathered white cherry blossoms, snowball viburnum, snow queen hydrangeas, and winding branches into one arrangement. Alone, each stem tells its own story. Together, they become something far more beautiful.

Nothing is placed by accident.

The same is true of our lives. Jesus is weaving together every joy, every delay, every unanswered prayer, and every blessing into something more beautiful than we can imagine.

“For we are His workmanship…” — Ephesians 2:10 #faithineverydaylife #whiteblooms #floraldesign #trustjesus #bloomwhereyouareplanted
Early this morning, I was listening to today’s hom Early this morning, I was listening to today’s homily and I found myself thinking, “Yes… this is exactly what God has been teaching me.”

After six months of stable scans, I finally felt like I could exhale a little. Then, out of nowhere, pain hit so hard that I ended up in the ER Thursday night. After being admitted, I learned there was a new tumor growth near my right kidney. Last year it was my left side. This time it’s my right. Definitely not what I was expecting.

But as I listened to the homily, one line really stayed with me: “There are no more good days or bad days. There are only days of grace.”

It made me think about how easy it is to thank God on the days when things are going well—the scans are stable, the symptoms are quiet, and life feels lighter. But what about the days that bring unexpected news, fear, uncertainty, and pain? Those days are not outside of God’s grace. I’ll be honest, sometimes it’s hard to say, “Thank You, God” in those moments. But what I do say is, “God, I love You. I trust You. Your ways are better than mine, and I know You can bring purpose and goodness from this.” I often think about Job during these seasons. He didn’t have all the answers, but he continued to trust God.

The homily reminded me that when we can endure hardships with an awareness of God’s presence, that itself is a grace. Not because the suffering is good, but because God can use even the things we would never choose for ourselves.

So my prayer today is:
“Lord, thank You for the blessings. Thank You for the stable scans. Thank You for the moments of peace. And when the storm clouds come - as they are present now, help me trust You there too. Use it all.”

Because God has a beautiful way of taking the things we see as weaknesses and, through His grace, transforming them into strength for His glory.
Same flowers. Two completely different arrangement Same flowers. Two completely different arrangements. 🌿💙🤍

If you missed it, I posted a reel yesterday showing how I put a floral arrangement together. I decided to create another one for the kitchen, using the exact same blooms, but by changing the shape, height, and placement, they ended up with two totally different looks and personalities.

Now I have to know… which one would you choose? #1 or #2? ✨

Summer blues, soft whites, and shades of green… my Summer blues, soft whites, and shades of green… my favorite color palette for this season.
This morning’s little blessings…flowers blooming o This morning’s little blessings…flowers blooming on the deck, peaceful moments tucked into corners of the backyard, and even a bird resting quietly in the grass. Sometimes God’s gifts are found in the simplest moments.

One thing you’ll never see me do is place flowers One thing you’ll never see me do is place flowers in a vase and leave them exactly as they came. I love taking the time to shape each stem, following its natural movement and allowing it to find its place in the arrangement. Whether I’m working with fresh blooms or faux florals, I’m always drawn to arrangements that feel airy, soft, and as though they could have been gathered straight from the garden.

Faith has taught me a similar lesson. Life isn’t always meant to be perfectly straight and neatly arranged. So much of faith feels the same way. Sometimes God does His best work in the bends, the stretching, and the shaping. We flourish not when we resist every bend in the road, but when we allow God to shape us. And often, that’s where the beauty begins to emerge in us.🤍#flowerarrangement #flowerstyling
Hi friends, can we take a moment to appreciate how Hi friends, can we take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous these garden roses are?

Something that had me thinking…just as these roses unfold petal by petal, God reveals His plans for us one grace-filled step at a time. In every season, His hands are at work creating beauty beyond what we can see. Hold on to your faith and keep on trusting.

“Be still and know…” Psalm 46 Earlier this week, “Be still and know…” Psalm 46

Earlier this week, we received the good news…After another three months, the tumors remain stable! ‘Stable’…one word that carry more meaning than I can fully express.

I’m reminded how a year ago unfolded in seasons - finishing Chemo at the beginning of the year, radiation in the spring, summer, and fall…and facing unexpected challenges along the way.

Each day, I thank God for his endless grace (seen and unseen). For the miracle of stability. For the peace that only He can give.

God has carried me through every season - every fear, every setback, every unknown. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude…beyond words can describe.

I don’t take this moment for granted. I know how quickly things can change, and that more trials may still lie ahead. But as I looked back on these past 20 years of living with cancer, I’m reminded - I have nothing to fear. Not because the road is easy, but because I have never walked it alone (Trust…I’m always asking Him to increase within me). I only ask that the Lord continues to carry my cross with me, and give me the strength to sustain what lies ahead.

There is so much grace in “stable”.

Thank you all for your continued prayers…I truly know they’re a treasure.

Created this arrangement with the simplicity of wh Created this arrangement with the simplicity of white blooms. I’m reminded that Lent is about creating room for God to move — in our homes and in our hearts. Stillness. Reflection. Surrender. Grace. Renewal. 🌿This is the rhythm of Lent and what the new season can bring.

I re-styled our bookshelves to welcome something t I re-styled our bookshelves to welcome something truly meaningful 🤍✨

This vintage gold frame holds the most beautiful piece of artwork titled “In His Footsteps” from @_lightyourhome_ — and it completely transformed the space. The soft, peaceful imagery paired with the ornate gold detailing adds depth, warmth, and intention to our built-ins.

Design, to me, isn’t just about styling shelves… it’s about telling a story. Creating a home that reflects faith, beauty, and quiet moments of reflection. Because the most beautiful spaces are the ones that mean something. 🤍
