A ROUNDUP OF MY EASY FALL DECOR IDEAS FOR YOUR LIVING SPACE

As of late, I’ve felt and seen glimpses of the Autumn season in recent days. Between the leaves already falling off the trees, the light breezy temps in the evening hours, kids back to school, and not to mention home decor stores already displaying pumpkin decor and fall scented candles. With the fall season just around the corner, I’m looking forward to adding seasonal decor touches in our living space and bringing out our throws – fall is one of the comfiest seasons! I think one of the reasons why I enjoy the fall season is, the holiday season just in the distance.

I already have ideas of what I’ll be adding in our living space (I’m looking forward to sharing our Fall Home Tour with you). I thought I would share a roundup and lookback at some of the fall touches I added in our home. Perhaps it will inspire you to spruce up your home for fall by adding seasonal decor touches.

One of the first places I enjoy  decorating is our ottoman tray. It doesn’t take much to add a couple of touches of fall decor. I displayed a couple of white ceramic miniature pumpkins and next to it is my scented candles inside my hurricane candle holders. I love how the branch design is reminiscent of trees during the colder months.  (I found this similar Abstract Candle Holder in Gold ).

For this tray styling, the only thing I did here was swap out the scented candle and added a faux floral arrangement with warm autumnal hues.

To add a fall touch to our entry table, I had used this white bowl with gold branch handles and inserted a bunch of real white miniature pumpkins. It’s a great way to greet your guests with a smidgen of fall spirit.

I typically only dress up our fireplace mantel during the Christmas season but last year, I decorated it using fragrant eucalyptus, stems of hydrangea and scattered a few mini pumpkins – with two medium-sized ones in the center that read: ‘Happy Fall’. I did this simple DIY by using gold adhesive alphabet letters found in my local craft store. I went with a neutral color palette so that it coordinates well with the rest of the living room.

The indoors is not the only place I decorated for the fall season. The end of summer doesn’t mean the end for your outdoor entertaining. You can host a cozy outdoor gathering on your patio or deck to celebrate the season by offering seasonal food & drink items, have available warm throw blankets for cozy seating, and decorate with warm textures and create ambient lighting.

Nature offers up the best decorating ideas that can be found right in our own backyard. From acorns and pine cones, you can easily display them in hurricane jars and insert a scented candle in the center. Mums, pumpkins and bundles of wheat are other items we can use incorporate in home decor for indoors and outdoors. Use your imagination for outdoor decorating. Below is a few of my favorite seasonal decor items  you can add in your home.
