Happy first day of fall, y’all! As the weather begins to cool and the brilliant color of the trees line the streets, I’m looking forward to embracing the autumn sky. Are you?
In yesterday’s post, I shared my four simple ways to transition your home decor from summer to fall. In case you missed that post, you can read all about it in Part 1 and see how I swapped out a few decor items in the living room. Today, I’m sharing how I dressed up our dining room table for the fall season by creating a simple yet luxe centerpiece that gives off a shimmering sparkle.
By creating a cluster of glass mercury candle holders and pumpkins, it sets the mood to the aesthetic of the dining room without clashing with the rest of the room’s look. I love how the mercury finish will reflect the glow of the candlelights, when lit. Speaking of candles, I looked through my small collection and found these white and gold striped ones I have and thought they were a great contrast to all the mercury glass and they also coordinate well with the gold decor elements and chrome finishes I have in the dining room.

Before you know it, it will be too cold to eat alfresco style so whether for a casual family dinner or a formal dinner party, I’m looking forward to trying new cuisines or find comfort in the classic fall recipes and celebrate at every meal with a beautifully styled tabletop setting, of course! (wink, wink)
Cheers!
