THESE FOUR WALLS:: Entryway Essentials {for small spaces}

I’ve talked about my chest of drawers that I use as my entryway table here but this time I am sharing with you my 5 favorite essentials I always decorate with when styling this tabletop.

Entryway Essentials for small spaces

If you are like me and don’t have a large enough foyer to place an entry table, I placed mine in the entryway of my living room with two large floor mirrors flanking on each side to balance out that area. I found that converting a nightstand with drawers serves as a practical use since I can use it to store everyday items as well as storing my winter accessories, since storage is limited – meaning no coat closet (humph!).

Accessorize your entryway tabletop with a tray. This is a chic way to display your entryway essentials, keeps everything organized in one place, and adds a layer of interest to your tabletop.

flowers, entryway essentials

An entryway is the first place your guests see when entering your home so having fresh flowers placed on your entryway table is a perfect way to welcome guests as they make their way into the rest of your home. Even if I am not expecting guests, I still like to splurge on a pretty bouquet! Wonder where the water is in my open vase? I used a small glass and inserted inside (wink).

Using a catch-all bowl or dish works well for placing your keys.

Place a decorative accent piece or sculpture on your tray to add character and style. Since my accent piece has a lid, I use it to stash my favorite ginger candy!

Add ambiance to your beautifully decorated tray with a scented candle, especially one that comes in a pretty decorative jar. This would be the perfect finishing touch!
