Do you ever find yourself really liking something at the store but don’t know where to put it or what to use it for? Or perhaps you no longer need that item you purchased long ago because you may have replaced it with something new. Well today on the noted, I am featuring a new weekly blog post called “The Many Uses” where I will be showing you different ways on how you can get many uses out of one product!
The item featured this week is the storage box. I can’t get enough of all the pretty lacquer boxes out there such as the one shown below. They showcase really well when displaying them as part of your home decor. They are also great for hiding some of the not so pretty items.
A few other uses (not shown here):
- Place your favorite storage box on top of your desk and insert all your business receipts for easy access and it’s neatly hidden away.
- For all you Scrapbookers out there, a storage box is a great place to organize all of your craft punches.
- Whenever you buy a new article of clothing such as a blouse, a dress, a blazer, or a coat, you may have extra buttons attached to them. Storing them all in a box is a great way to keep them together for future use.
Check back next week on the noted, where I will be showing you “The Many Uses” of a VASE!

I have a small box I use to store all my match books. And another one I store all my safety pins. I liked all your uses for the decorative boxes!

Thanks Rose Angel for the great ideas. I have a similar box in hot pink laquer and keep all my long necklaces and another larger one in the dining room to store extra candles and napkins. I absolutely love your work!
