If you’re looking to add a few autumnal touches around your house or on your tablescape, keep reading to check out my idea to help you welcome the arrival of fall this week!
If you’ve been to big box home decor stores lately, you may have noticed a big trend of pumpkins with words on them. My favorites are the white ceramic pumpkins detailed with words in gold font! It had me inspired to create my own DIY message pumpkin that does not require any writing, painting, or carving. You guys, it’s so simple and easy…just use large sticker alphabet letters! You have a variety of font styles and color options to choose from such as, black font, silver font, pink font, gold foil, and glitter font.
The brand stickers I used are Me and My Big Ideas – MAMBIsticks large alphabet sticker in uppercase and lowercase. I purchased mine from Michaels. I was only able to source the black glitter font alphabet stickers online but I’m sure you will be able to find them in the store!
I chose the message ‘Happy Fall’ for my pumpkins but there are so many words or messages you can add to your pumpkins that are perfect to celebrate the autumn season.

Places where you can decorate and place your message pumpkins are 0n your hall table, dining table, coffee table, kitchen counter/island, or the exterior of your front door entryway! Another idea is to purchase mini pumpkins and smaller font alphabet stickers – spell out the names of your dinner guests on the pumpkins and place each one on their dinner plate…it’s a festive way to use as a place card and a take home gift for your guests!
