Looking for a decadent dessert to make this Valentine’s day? Well, if you’re a chocolate lover (like I am) than this dessert recipe from Sandra Lee will surely satisfy your chocolate craving!
With only a few ingredients, including Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur – this ‘Lovely Mousse’ is deliciously rich in texture. To avoid the temptation of over indulging, I placed them in mini martini glasses (similar ones can be found, here).
After a Valentine’s Day dinner, what could be more romantic than splitting a dessert, after all treats are meant to be shared.
While Sandra’s recipe only called for strawberries, I instead garnished some of the mousse cups with raspberries, blackberries and added coconut macaroons to some and sprinkled some sweetened coconut flakes and a piece of hershey’s chocolate in others. Since I couldn’t find her recipe online, I included it in this post below.
Enjoy!

- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 box (1.4 ounces) instant chocolate pudding
- 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur
- 2 chocolate pudding cups (3.5 ounces each)
- 6 ounces strawberries
- In a medium bowl, beat together cream and pudding mix until soft peaks form.
- Add Grand Marnier and pudding cups and beat until stiff. Transfer to a large bag. Snip off one of the bottom corners and pipe mixture into martini glasses.
- Garnish with strawberries.
- Note: I used Hershey's instant chocolate pudding and substituted the strawberries with raspberries and blackberries. I also garnished with coconut macaroons and sweetened coconut flakes.
