When I saw that my sister recently pinned these knobs and drawer pulls from Pottery Barn, I knew they would be perfect for my nightstand that I am using as an “entry table” since I was in desperate need of storage space. This piece is used to place my keys, store sunglasses, hats, scarves, gloves and my stash of scented candles!
Believe it or not, this 4-drawer chest used to have a mahogany finish with brass drawer pulls but because the top of the chest got damaged and scratched, I decided to have it updated to this white lacquer crocodile finish. Since I was undecided as to what hardware finish I should go with, this poor chest was sitting knob-less for about 2-years (not a pretty look having drawers slightly open just so you can get into them)!
For the longest time, I was undecided as to what hardware finish would look best…a shiny chrome? Perhaps all gold hardware since I have incorporated gold elements in the living room. I love that this hardware incorporates the colors of both white and gold. With an all white piece, a chunky hardware was definitely what was needed. Thanks Sis for pinning these!!
