Happy Monday, guys! This morning, I have an early appointment for blood work and a consult with my doctor at the hospital and thereafter, we are driving back home to PA! It wasn’t planned that way but since I had a complication with my liver and need to be on medication, I am unable to receive my third infusion of the immunotherapy drugs until after my levels go down and I am completely off the meds. So, we got approval from the doctor and decided to use the break and consider it a blessing in disguise so that my body can be calm and rested before the next infusion (as the side effects may hit me again). My sister and brother-in-law couldn’t be anymore gracious and accommodating with opening their home to us while I’m on this trial.
With this treatment I’m on, it definitely has felt like summer is flying by…once August comes and goes, it’s pretty much over. I’ve been using my “good days” to take advantage of things I want to do – like creating fun content for the blog. But I also would like to do a few other things that are more personal in nature before the summer is out. I may not get to all of them but that’s ok. Life is short…live it, anyway and anyhow you can!
