MY CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR: A STYLISHLY COZY CHRISTMAS BEDROOM {PART 3 OF 3}

MY CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR: A STYLISHLY COZY CHRISTMAS BEDROOM

Welcome back friends! This is the last room that is featured as part of our Christmas Home Tour…our master bedroom! This is the first time we added a Christmas tree in our room and we can’t believe we haven’t had one all this time, it’s so magical and adds holiday cheer! I wanted to keep a cozy vibe, so I decided to give our bedroom a winter-wonderland feel with some frosted white accessories. I’ll talk more about that below. Not only am I’m featuring how I decorated our room but I’ll share with you 4 simple ways you can decorate your bedroom for Christmas.

#1. Use festive vessels

White hydrangeas grouped together creates a fluffy ball shape that mimics a snowball. I clustered a few Hydrangea stems in a glass vase that has a stunning gold-glitter encrusted vine connected to the base of the vase. I found it recently at HomeGoods. Whether you are decorating with fresh flowers or faux, house them in a festive holiday vessel that compliments the rest of your bedroom decor.

#2. Add a Christmas Tree

To give that winter-wonderland feel, I made this faux arrangement for my makeup vanity, using white blossom stemssnow bare branch stems, and white ice hydrangea stems. We have the perfect little spot in our bedroom to place this 6 ft. flocked Christmas tree. I placed it next to my vanity, in front of the window. To give the tree a little more height, I went around our house to find something big enough to hold it and viola! I found this gold base that I found a couple of years ago at Target in the clearance section. I normally use it to hold throws. Just recently, I found two gold planters at Target (also on clearance) that is exactly like this one but smaller.

Depending on the available space in your bedroom, decorating it with a tabletop tree or a medium-height tree will instantly change the look of your room and it will definitely make you smile!

I kept the decorations on the tree minimal. I decorated the Christmas tree with frosted glass ball ornaments and silver glass icicles that look frosted.

#3. Drape some garland.

Add some classic holiday flair to your headboard with a charming garland. This is our second year draping garland on our headboard. We love how festive and pretty it looks. We used this faux 9 ft. flocked garland from Walmart.

Trays of any kind are great versatile pieces. They can be used to hold your essentials, in an organized way or for the purpose of adding another decorative layer to your home decor. This decorative gold tray with leaf handles is beautiful and festive to put out for the holiday season.

#4. Add Christmas lights.

Adding a string of lights is an inexpensive, yet festive way to add holiday decor to your bedroom. And let’s not forget the ambiance too! Since our garland is not pre-lit, I added LED fairy lights to our garland. I love these types of lights! They are so thin and delicate, you can pretty much place them anywhere for just the right amount of sparkle.
