I used to be afraid to work on custom designs for my customers who were looking for that special and personal greeting card because I was concerned I couldn’t deliver what they had in mind. I didn’t want to put myself through the stress so I avoided it. However, as of late – I’ve been accepting custom greeting card requests and I’m thrilled that the end results made my customers happy! I’ve learned that if there is something I cannot produce specifically for my customer, it’s ok to say I’m not able to but can hopefully provide an alternate or similar design.
Question…what do you look for when shopping for a greeting card? Is it the look? Is it the inside message or both? Do you prefer printed illustration cards vs. 3D handmade designs? I would appreciate your opinion on this, so let me know in the comment section below!
Below are two custom (age-specific) birthday cards I had created and are now available for purchase in my shop!
‘Champagne Bottle Cake Topper’
Similar to this ‘Cheers’ champagne bottle card I designed, I thought it would be cute to make a smaller version of the champagne bottle and use it as a cake topper. This card can be customized for any age, perhaps for that special person turning 21?!
’40 and Fabulous Confetti Birthday Card’
This fun and vibrant 40th confetti birthday card is also available to be customized to any age number. Right now, I have age 50 available in my shop!
All of my greeting cards are designed on my signature square folded card that has a slight metallic sheen. Each greeting card comes with a coordinating hand-lined envelope for that added elegance. To shop for these cards or to view a variety of my unique designs for all occasions, head on over to my shop, here! Stay tuned to see a few new Mother’s day cards that will be featured here on the blog, in the coming weeks!
As always, thank you for supporting my small business!! xo
