It doesn’t take much to add a touch of fall into your home. By swamping out a few home decor pieces, you can easily fill your home with festive touches that celebrates the season! See how I welcomed fall into my home with a few easy swaps…
Swap out the vase that is holding your flowers and create your own DIY pumpkin vase to add to your coffee table. While I LOVE fresh flowers, I decided to use dried flowers in complimentary colors. As shown on the first picture on top, swap out your lightweight throw for a more cozier one.
Create a cozy fall ambiance by swapping out your candle for an autumn scent.
I swapped out my candy bowl for this white and gold acorn bowl with lid. It’s a perfect place to stash my chocolate, especially when it’s ‘Pumpkin Spice Latte’ flavored M&M’s!
Adding a mini pumpkin completes the look on my tray.
For the centerpiece on my dining room table, I used a white serving bowl and inserted a beautiful bouquet of purple flowering cabbage that added so much dimension and brings an unexpected natural element. Alongside it, is a leaf-shaped serving platter. What better way to welcome guests than with a tasty fall treat, like these delicious apple chips with caramel flavor!
And finally, you don’t have to go far than your own backyard to gather natures fall bounty. Bring in the warm color palette of autumn by clipping some tree branches and arranging them in a vessel. Here I displayed it on my entry table and paired a pumpkin chestnut scented candle in a copper tin to compliment the fall color leaves. Another great fall scent!
Voila! With a few simple items, you can easily swap out your home decor! What are some of the ways you incorporate the season into your home?
