FRIDAY’S FAVORITE FINDS

Happy Friday! It’s been a busy week for me and this weekend will be no different. With a couple of projects I am working on and adding new products to my Etsy shop, I’ll be in the studio, working away. I’m hoping to get at least a few hours of down time on Sunday. Speaking of Sunday, will you be watching the Oscars? If you are into throwing an at-home Oscar party, or enjoy guessing who will win, check out Sugar and Charm’s 2015 Oscar Ballot Printable and The Glitter Guide’s Printable Oscars 2015 Ballot.

For today’s favorite finds, here are a couple of favorites in my home…

Love the smell of my new Voluspa Ambre Lumiere votive candle. It has notes of amber, vanilla benzoine and Indonesian patchouli. I bought it at a cute boutique in Williamsburg, the last time I visited NY. This is my favorite spot in the house. On a cold day, sitting by the fireplace, covered in a warm throw, a perfumed candle fragrance looms in the air and a view of a pretty hydrangea sets the scene for a cozy setting! Oh, and that hydrangea you see…before I took this picture, I saw that it had started to wilt so I read somewhere (most likely from Pinterest) that if you cut the stem and place it in hot water, it will spruce right back up and sure enough, it did!

A small bouquet of red and white ranunculus sit on my writing desk.

Have a wonderful weekend! And those on the East Coast, be safe and try to stay warm!
