It’s reveal day! I’m happy to share with you how I decorated our home for the holidays. So welcome…come on in…and I hope you enjoy!
Since I had planned to share a post of my very first holiday home tour, I knew when decorating the house, I was going to follow the “less is more” approach, as sometimes I can get carried away with holiday decorations.
I typically rotate the color ornaments I plan to use between the living and dining room. This year, I decided to decorate the tree in the living room with all white ornaments and only use a mix of fresh-cut holiday greenery for the fireplace mantel. Having beautiful fresh greenery is like having a bit of nature indoors. The fragrant scent and the look is very welcoming.
While shopping at one of my favorite local boutiques, I purchased this garland of glittered mercury glass acorns. Each acorn has an LED light inside them. I love that it is battery operated so I can hide it because I sure do despise wires and cords! Anybody with me?
Fresh boxwood wreaths are hung on the leaning floor mirrors.
Since I love the look of a flocked Christmas tree, I decided to spray the ends of the branches with snow spray in order to achieve a similar look.
Aren’t these the prettiest ornament and wreath cookies you have ever seen?! I purchased these delicious treats from Cakery Creation. Individually packed, they make great holiday gifts as well as a pretty decoration when tied to a present.
From my collection, this is one of Design by Occasion’s holiday greeting cards.
A totally different look from last years christmas table setting, I found that I still stuck with a mix of gold, silver and navy blue. Hmm… I feel a wall color paint change coming on soon!
I found this beautiful printable Christmas print from Chelsea of CraftMei that reads, ‘have yourself a merry little christmas‘. I knew the bar tray in the dining room was the perfect place to display this pretty print! To enhance the festive look of the framed print, I draped a battery operated led light strand. YAY, no cords! It looks really nice when the chandelier lightening is dimmed.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my holiday home tour and perhaps even found some inspiration! A special thanks to Autumn Stankay of SkySight Photography for capturing all the beautiful photos!!
