‘Tis the season for decorating Christmas trees! Did you use the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend to put up your Christmas tree? Since I like to have a real tree, I typically wait until the first weekend in December to purchase one so that the tree will last longer through the first of the new year. When bringing home a fresh-cut douglas fir tree, I love the way it fills the room with a festive scent of pine not to mention that adding a touch of the outdoors transforms an interior space. The only con to a real Christmas tree is definitely the messy dried up needles that find it’s way everywhere!
What is your preference…a real or artificial tree, traditional green or colored? Do you like to keep it modern and match your tree to your home decor?
