I love traveling to towns in Pittsburgh that I have never visited before, where I get to explore charming neighborhoods and local small shops. When I happen to stumble across a home decor and accessory boutique, watch out because it’s one of my favorite places to visit. So when I spotted Splurge (love the name) in Fox Chapel, PA, needless to say I was excited to roam around and see what stylish accessories I can find!
As I walked in, I was greeted by these luxurious crystal chandeliers that immediately caught my attention.
The store was filled with fragrant aromas of scented candles in the air. I couldn’t leave the store without making a purchase so of course (if you know me and my love of candles) a Apothecary Candle was my choice.
My new bathroom scent is called “Pacific” with notes of Sparkling Lemon, Petitgrain, Crushed Spearmint, Orange Flower, Cyclamen, Marine Water, Sea Salt, Cedar, and Coastal Musk. I love the glass dome, not only does it add a certain prettiness to the candle but it’s perfect for when you blow out your candle, you can immediately cover to eliminate the lingering smell of the smoke that billows from the dying ember of a blown out candle.
Splurge also offers complimentary design services. So if you live in the Pittsburgh or surrounding area, be sure to visit, you’ll be glad you did!
