Last night we hosted our first holiday dinner party. We are normally the ones finding gifts for the host/hostess but this time, it was the other way around. One of our guests is a florist so we received a beautiful floral bouquet that complimented the holiday color scheme in our decorated living room. Another friend gifted us with a personalized gift that I was so touched by, I had to share with you in today’s post! After pulling out this Yankee Candle from the gift bag, I noticed the image and I automatically thought to myself this picture looks so darn similar to my Christmas tablescape...I quickly realized, it was my tablescape!! I text our friend right away to thank her for such a thoughtful gift. She knows how much I LOVE decorating and styling tablescapes and since I just posted the dining room, from our holiday home tour – it was perfect! I have to say that seeing this image on the candle with the message that reads: ‘At Christmas, All roads lead home’ was so fitting with the ceramic house I have on my tablescape!
The candle’s delicious fragrance smells like a combination of peppermint and vanilla. I have a feeling I won’t want to light up the candle too much to the point that it burns out because this is a definite keepsake I will want to treasure for years to come! If you’re looking for a personalized gift for a friend, co-worker, or family member, use a photo you know they love and have it printed on a candle…I’m sure they will love it as much as I love mine!
