Spring is in the air, and summer is around the corner. As spring breaks and all signs points to summer, I like to usher in the new season by refreshing parts of our home with seasonal items that keep it feeling fresh and light.

No. 1 – Summery Scents…
Fragrant candles are a great way to add that summery scent in your home. This Sydney Hale Co. scented candle reminiscent of the beach, embodies the scent of summer.
I feel like I’m in a lush garden with this Gardenia scented candle from DW Home. I found this candle at HomeGoods but here are selection of other Gardenia scents. For that summery “beachy” type feel (in a glam kind of way), I placed these rose quartz fragments into a glass vase and nestled the scented candle inside.
No. 2 – Bring the Outdoors In…
Flowers, house plants, and natural foliage are undeniably the best way to decorate and enhance the pleasures of the season into your home! Welcome guest into your home this summer a garden-inspired flower arrangement.
Or how about clipping some foliage from your backyard? Since the fireplace is not used during the spring and summer months, I softened the hearth with tall arrangement of greenery. I love bringing the outdoors in!

No. 2 – Home Accents that add Sophistication and Summer Mood Lighting…
I wanted to lighten and brighten the moody vibe in our dining room. So I created this table centerpiece that includes all white lattice ginger jars and this lantern that could be used for both indoors and outdoors. Not only are they beautiful home accents, they can add the summer mood lighting in the evening hours. No table is complete without the use of flowers, so I added white hydrangeas in these gold brass planters.
No. 3 – Add Seasonal Beach-inspired Elements..
You don’t have to live by the ocean to bring in summery decor pieces. Decorating with coral wreaths, natural driftwood, and crystal geodes are all accessories that adds a subtle nod to a beachy/nautical vibe.
