For me, I count my blessings everyday as I have so many blessings bestowed upon me daily. There is so much to be thankful for but what I am most thankful for is my current health. If you read this post, you know that over the summer, I had undergone a trial treatment plan for my ovarian cancer. I then posted this updating you on my latest CT scan. I received good news and have been blessed with three months of enjoying my days without needles, treatments, or a heart of sadness and worry.
I am most thankful for my loving spouse who holds my hand through everything…good or bad. Who always encourages me, supports me, and no matter what the circumstance, journeys with me as a friend and as a devoted companion.
I am thankful for my family and their support, especially my sister and brother-in-law who graciously opens up their home to us, without hesitation, whenever we need to be in NY for a long period of time for medical reasons.
I’m thankful for you…my online community for your thoughts and prayers. I am appreciative of all the sweet and inspiring messages I receive! The power of prayer is undeniable and I believe it changes our lives and our hearts. I have experienced the power of prayer when we found out the news of my tumors. I am hopeful to receive more good news when I take another CT scan at the end of January. However, I shall not worry about the future, I shall live for today and be thankful for it.
I wish you the simple joys of this warm and wonderful season.
Happy Thanksgiving!
