Whether you are hosting an impromptu or planned dinner party, sometimes it’s easy to know you can whip something up in a flash and know it will taste good. Today, I ‘m sharing an instant fall dessert recipe. Instant? Yep! I used JELL-O instant Pumpkin Spice flavored pudding mix. To fancy it up, I followed the instructions on the box for the mousse recipe, spooned the mousse in my long-stemmed sherbet glasses (you can also use martini glasses), topped the mousse off with some crumbled ginger snaps and inserted a whole ginger snaps cookie for more of a gourmet look. The combination of flavors between the pumpkin spice and ginger, the smooth creamy mousse and the crunch of the cookies, tasted well… let’s just say I (and my other taste testers) always taste what I make before posting it and there were a lot of “Mmmm” sounds coming from my kitchen.
You can easily turn an ordinary dessert into something extraordinary and impress your friends and family. With a few clever short-cuts, it’s the secret to a time-saving quick and easy dessert!
