When you have leftover flowers from a photoshoot, one can’t help but to create a tablescape! The beautiful rich jewel-tones of the dramatic flower arrangement includes vibrant reds, indigo, plum, lavender and deep purple. I was inspired to create a tabletop setting that complemented the rich color palette.
Since our dining table is a dark wood color, I brighten things up a bit by using a white footed bowl to house the flower arrangement I made and brought in the color elsewhere with my white vintage glasses and plates. To mimic the blue tones from the flower arrangement, I brought in the color with my cobalt wine glasses. To add a neutral contrast, I added gray dinner plates and layered it with a taupe-colored salad plate. To bring in some shiny sparkle, I used my gold flatware.
A perfectly suitable tablescape to welcome in the fall season – that is just around the corner.
