Since a few of the flowers from my Cinco de Mayo centerpiece were starting to wilt away, I still had these purple florals (sorry don’t know the name of them) that were still in good shape. I used these beauties to create this DIY Flower Wall for a Teascape Inspiration. Yup, you read it right…I said “Teascape”. Serving afternoon tea can be quit elaborate starting with you breaking out your grandmother’s vintage tea set (or a modern set like mine shown here), serving a variety of baked goods and tea sandwiches to a selection of fine teas and edible florals, you can have an abundant spread! Whether you’re serving afternoon tea for Mother’s day, or hosting a bridal or baby shower tea party, why not add to this feminine fete by creating a lovely flower wall! It’s really simple and makes a swoon worthy backdrop!
Simply choose a flower color and type that will coordinate well with your tea party theme and attach each flower stem to the wall by using either washi tape or masking tape. Because my flower choice is heavy on top, I hung these florals upside down.
Stack your teacups and plates to add visual interest and height to your teascape.
I really enjoy flavored milky type teas like this Rose Milk Tea. For other tea recipes to use at your next tea party, check out these favorites:
