When it came to planning on how I wanted to create a fall centerpiece on our dining room table, I knew I wanted to display a natural and lush table runner. To accomplish this, I decided to use an array of different-sized pumpkins, adorned with fresh florals, seeded eucalyptus, and candlelight for ambiance. I just LOVE how my DIY fall floral & pumpkins table runner came out!

I used neutral-colored pumpkins to create a softer and more minimalistic look. I went with all white blooms and eucalyptus which in turn, played off that sense of timelessness, blending elements of both the spring and fall seasons. I find this floral & pumpkins table runner to be festive, cozy, inviting, and ready for fall parties into the Thanksgiving holiday.

STEPS TO ARRANGE A DIY FLORAL & PUMPKINS TABLE RUNNER:

Arrange (3) large-sized pumpkins down the center of the table (depending on the size of your dining table will determine how many pumpkins you can fit).
Place (2) medium-sized pumpkins on opposite sides of the large centered pumpkin.
Insert your favorite blooms inside (4) clear glass votive candle holders (an alternative to florals is to adorn your table with mini-sized mum plants, instead). Starting from the left to the right, tuck the mini floral arrangements in between the three centered pumpkins.
Clip some seeded eucalyptus branches and strategically tuck them in between the pumpkins and the floral bouquets to cover up any holes. You can either use faux eucalyptus branches or if you use real ones, insert each stem in water tubes so that they can last longer.
I used (4) pillar candles to display on the backend of the floral & pumpkins table centerpiece runner.
Arrange several mini pumpkins on both sides of your floral & pumpkins table runner. You can group the mini pumpkins in two or one mini pumpkin in front of a large one – there is no right or wrong way. Use mini pumpkins to also hide any seen pockets/holes in your table runner arrangement.
