Picnic in the leaves.
The outdoor scenery this time of year is just magnificent with its brilliant autumn colors of red, yellow, orange, and brown. I say spend time outdoors this fall season, pack a picnic and catch up with your best girlfriends. But not your typical picnic…drinking coffee (flavored is a bonus), talking with my gal pals, and eating dessert is one of my favorite things, so why not have each person bring a pie! While pie eating is done all year around, the month of November is the perfect time to try a new recipe, thanks to all the fresh seasonal fruit. Make hand-sized or mini pies for everyone to enjoy and taste. Swap pie recipes to use if your hosting a Thanksgiving dinner or brunch. Don’t forget to pack up a thermos with fresh hot coffee. You can even make this outing an annual traditions with your girlfriends!
Besides the stylish inspiration, I have shared a few mouth-watering pies to pair it with, at the end of this post.
