Created this arrangement with the simplicity of wh Created this arrangement with the simplicity of white blooms. I’m reminded that Lent is about creating room for God to move — in our homes and in our hearts. Stillness. Reflection. Surrender. Grace. Renewal. 🌿This is the rhythm of Lent and what the new season can bring.

This vintage gold frame holds the most beautiful piece of artwork titled “In His Footsteps” from @_lightyourhome_ — and it completely transformed the space. The soft, peaceful imagery paired with the ornate gold detailing adds depth, warmth, and intention to our built-ins.

Design, to me, isn’t just about styling shelves… it’s about telling a story. Creating a home that reflects faith, beauty, and quiet moments of reflection. Because the most beautiful spaces are the ones that mean something. 🤍

After visiting and praying before the relics of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, this past Friday brought scan results with encouraging signs — stability, decrease, and continued hope. We’ll keep moving forward with my current treatment and monitoring in the months ahead, continuing to trust in God’s plan each step of the way.

Thank you for your continued prayers, support and quiet strength you continue to surround me with from afar. 🙏🌹

There’s something so captivating about driving alo There’s something so captivating about driving along the mountain road this time of year — when I see the distant peaks covered in autumn color — creating a breathtaking landscape. It’s a sight that always stops me in awe — a living reminder of God’s artistry in creation.

At home, I love bringing a similar color palette indoors, mirroring the mountains in autumn. By preserving hydrangeas from our backyard, I’ve been able to introduce even more shades — burgundy, plum, teal, and antique blue.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” -Psalm 19:1
When Sorrow Finds Its Way to the Heart There are When Sorrow Finds Its Way to the Heart

There are moments when sorrow finds its way into my heart—like when I think about the long-term effects of my upcoming radiation treatments. But by the grace of the Holy Spirit, I’m reminded of the Passion of Jesus and His great sorrow.

When I unite my suffering with His at the foot of the Cross, I never walk alone. He knows the weight of pain and shares the cross I carry. Sometimes despair can linger far too long if I let it—it can weary both body and spirit. But when I look to His wounds, I find comfort.

Through this gentle reminder, I’m able to rise from despair before it consumes me both physically and spiritually. Instead, I’m filled with peace… for in His suffering, we are never abandoned. Love transforms it. When I place my cross beside His, it becomes something holy.

It’s redemptive.
It draws me near His heart.
It pleases Him, because it shows trust.
And through it, grace flows — often in ways I’ll never see.

Sometimes I just need these reminders—and often, we have to be reminded again and again—because sorrow and pain of all type’s will always be present in our lives. Yet even then, He is near, and that changes everything.
A Reflection on My Baptism Anniversary Excerpt f A Reflection on My Baptism Anniversary

Excerpt from what I shared last September, 2024…
“For a while now, I felt a gentle tug on my heart — a call to reflect and lean deeper into the presence of God. After much prayer and reflection, I decided to take a step back and unplug from social media for a season.”

At the time, I thought it would be a short break — maybe a pause until the fall season passed. But fall quietly slipped into winter, winter gave way to spring, and spring blossomed into summer.

In the stillness, I began to realize this was never just a break — it was an invitation to be transformed. A season that became seasons of renewal.

Back in July of last year, I felt a deep, unshakable calling from God — a stirring in my soul that felt like He was asking me to be made new. Though I didn’t fully understand it at the time, I see now how He was preparing my heart for renewal — a quiet, unseen ‘baptism’ of the spirit.

Now, as autumn circles back once more, I’m reminded of the day God first claimed me as His own — October 16, 1971 — the day I was baptized.

What began as a simple call to step away, has come full circle into a deeper understanding of grace, renewal, and spiritual rebirth.

Today, I celebrate not only the anniversary of my baptism, but the gentle ways God continues to whisper, “Behold, I make all things new.”

While I’m not quite ready to return to posting regularly, I’ll share a reflection or moment of inspiration here and there. Thank you all for continuing to follow along — your presence, kindness, and prayers for my health, mean more than you know.
These preserved hydrangeas, gathered from our back These preserved hydrangeas, gathered from our backyard at summer’s end, now feel like a regift of beauty for autumn days in our home. They remind me that while seasons shift, God’s presence and beauty never fade — they don’t end with one season but carry faithfully into the next.

‘He has made everything beautiful in its time.’ – Ecclesiastes 3:11”

After chemo ending earlier this year and radiation treatments ending in March and another in August, tomorrow morning I’ll be going in for a CT scan. I’d be ever so grateful for your prayers. My heart is at peace, knowing the same God who carries me through every season will be with me in this one too.🤍
As seasons change, we say goodbye and hello all at As seasons change, we say goodbye and hello all at once. 🍂 These blooms carry both the warmth of summer’s end and the richness of autumn’s beginning.

I’m still in a sabbatical space, learning to pause, learning to listen, and say yes to the Lord’s invitations. Just as each flower takes its place in the arrangement, He is faithful to place us where we are meant to be.

‘For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.’ – Ecclesiastes 3:1

May you embrace the beauty of your own season and follow where He leads, for He never wastes a season.
NEW ART CANVAS, SAME FAITHFUL REMINDER. I just ad NEW ART CANVAS, SAME FAITHFUL REMINDER.
I just added the ‘Watched Over’ canvas from @_lightyourhome_ to our home, and it’s more than just decor—it’s a daily reflection of peace and divine care. The quiet figure of Christ, our Shepherd and his sheep reminds me that we’re never truly alone.
“The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.”
Psalm 121:5–8 ✨
The soft muted tones and the gently framed endless clouds draw your eyes in, but it’s the message behind the image that brings lasting comfort. A perfect piece to anchor any space with calm, purpose, and quiet strength.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
— John 10:27
