It’s been a long time since I’ve posted to my ‘Around Town’ series where I share images and my experience after visiting a new neighborhood with the cutest shops and/or restaurants in my own hometown or in other cities I visit. Since we had wonderful weather this past Saturday, I was determined to explore a neighborhood in Pittsburgh that I’ve never been to before. We shopped, dined and explored and it was something my fiance and I haven’t done in a while – it was fun!
One of the best things about being a tourist in your own city is discovering new areas! Our drive took us to a hip, trendy and upbeat neighborhoods in Lawrenceville, PA. I love stopping in one-of-a-kind shops and a boutique that immediately caught my eye was No. 14 boutique.
A woman-owned clothing store owned by a mother-daughter duo combined their talents in curating the cutest shop. Fourteen boutique sells a little bit of everything from feminine & flirty women’s clothing and stylish home decor, to gift items, quality paper goods & cards from popular brands. They even sell a small selection of refurbished vintage furniture. It’s the perfect combination of fashion and home accessories!
This boutique has a Anthropologie interior vibe. Fun fact: No. 14 boutique renovated this building that was once a bar.
What makes this boutique visually interesting and eye-catching are the fun ways they incorporate decor accessories and furnishings with their fashion pieces. Like how they displayed clothing items that are hung from a hotel bellman’s luggage rack.
A pretty display of modern and vintage pieces make up the gallery wall behind the checkout counter.

One of the items I purchased (below) was a fit and flare black Jo Mesh Midi Dress with a bow detail. It’s a fun and flirty dress. The mesh fabric of this dress is perfect for an evening out in the Spring!
Of course I could not leave the store without picking up two of my favorite scented candles by Voluspa!!
