Valentine’s day is not just a one-on-one evening spent with your one-and-only sweetheart. Oh no, it’s all about the gals in our lives because they too, are loved! So whether you have a significant other or to my single ladies, nothing is more sweeter than friendship and celebrating that friendship amongst you and your besties. This also includes the special bond you have for your sister(s), mother and whoever else fills your life with love and splendor.
Hosting a ‘Galentine’s’ day fête and enjoying a dinner around a delightful mix of conversation that includes listening to everyone talk about current happenings in their life and memories of the past – will surely bring on joy and laughter! On today’s post, I’m sharing an intimate Galentine’s tablescape in hues of blush and gray.
I used a white tablecloth and layered it with this gray lace table runner.
I purchased these grey dinner plates from HomeGoods and these hue blush plates are a perfect compliment.
I added these DIY Valentine’s day notecards that play a dual purpose as place cards for your table. To make your own, simply purchase a small card and envelope set, take your favorite color lipstick, pucker up and seal a kiss on the front of your notecard. I used this Pentel Sunburst Metallic Gel Pen in a gold ink to write my guests names on the front of each card. I then included a special handwritten message inside each notecard. Place each note card on top of your dessert plate, along with a couple of chocolates and you have a sweet way to welcome your guests, as they sit at the table!
A simple but pretty centerpiece of pink and white carnations added a delicate feel to the tablescape.
Cheers! xoxo
