With only three days before Valentine’s day, I thought I would share a simple, yet delicious after dinner dessert treat. Whether you will be celebrating with your friends or with your valentine, you can create this festive and stylish drink & dessert bar for all to enjoy.

Chocolate and wine…the perfect synergy! I picked up a bottle of ChocoVine Chocolate wine. It’s a luscious blend of fine red wine, rich chocolate, and decadent cream…perfect to enjoy on its own or paired with a tasty treat. I used a mirrored tray to set the wine glasses, tealight candle holders for a romantic vignette and these sweet heart-shaped paper napkins (I found at TJMaxx) that read the word love in a red metallic design.

For dessert, I paired the chocolate wine with pound cake, chocolate truffles, fresh raspberries and whipped cream. I used Valentine’s cookie cutters I found in the Dollar section of Target to cut out the pound cake in cute hearts and x’s & o’s shapes. For an endearing presentation, I displayed these festive treats on a Valentine’s day platter I found three years ago at HomeGoods.
