I know, I know…Thanksgiving day is not here yet and I am already thinking about the day after but I’m always looking for ways to eat the leftover ham and/or turkey using a different recipe. I mean really, how many times can we reheat the same meal and eat it the same way, right? So when I found this quiche tarlet recipe, it is not only delicious to serve for brunch, it’s a great recipe to try when using your leftover Thanksgiving ham!
Ingredients like smoked ham off the bone, smoked cheddar cheese, fresh chives and spices, makes this pie crusted quiche very flavorful.
To accompany this quiche, I made a salad using spinach leaves, chopped bacon (optional), diced pears, apples, and dates. I drizzled balsamic vinaigrette and the sweetness of the fruit mixed with the salty of the bacon was oh, so savory!
Enjoy!
