Now that it’s officially the Fall season, perhaps you will be hosting at least one festive dinner. This table setting can easily transition for a Thanksgiving dinner. In case you missed it yesterday’s post – this is how I styled my outdoor fall tablescape.
Featuring an abundance of pumpkins are the perfect way to giving your dining room table an autumnal makeover. Pumpkins in all sizes, is just what I used to create a centerpiece for this fall tablescape – it sets the scene beautifully! On our Fall tabletop, I started with covering the dining table with a blue quilt fabric for that cozy, warm feel. Then I created a ‘table runner’ by placing large-sized pumpkins down the center of the table. For a pop of color, I used one grey pumpkin and two pumpkins that had a terracotta hue to it – the rest where all white. I stacked clusters of small and medium-sized pumpkins on both sides of the centerpiece as well as using a few to place on top of the larger pumpkins, for dimension. Instead of flowers, I decided to use fall greenery like baby blue eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus, seeded eucalyptus, and myrtle. I clipped the stems of each branch and sporadically tucked a few in-and-between the pumpkins. On each end of the pumpkin centerpiece, I layered longer cut branches and had them cascade to both the front and back side of the centerpiece.
For the table setting, I used my antique white bone china and layered it with a gold rim white bowl that mimics the quilted design of the table fabric. I used modern gold flatware, gold rim wine glasses and goblets. For the finishing touch, I used these stunning gold brass leaves napkin ring holders.
To illuminate the table, I used a pair of these cast brass taper candle holders in a medium and large size.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve been inspired to dress your dining table this season for your next fall gathering.
