Give thanks in style.
Sharing food with great friends is what Friendsgiving is all about. Showing your bestest friends how much their friendship means to you is definitely a reason for a celebration! Whether you’re planning on hosting a ‘Friendsgiving this weekend or next week, I’m giving you some pretty table inspo.
The perfect way to set the tone for an unforgettable get-together is by styling a tablescape. Since we will be hosting an all-girl friendsgiving, I went with a feminine color palette of pink, white and gold. Not your traditional color palette but it sure makes for a stunning appearance!
The tablecloth.
I chose this pale pink tablecloth that serves as a neutral canvas.
The centerpiece and ambiance.
I created this simple floral centerpiece, using eucalyptus, white roses and hydrangeas. I found these white decor pumpkins from HomeGoods with words that read, ‘blessed’ and ‘give thanks. It’s a perfect addition to the table decor that pretty much sums up the reason for celebrating with friends. I placed them atop of these gold fern candle rings that I also used here as well. I housed pink taper candles in my antique brass candlesticks. To bring out more of that “glam glow”, I added gold votive candle holders that I had found at the Dollar Store a few years ago. I love how the gold pops against the soft pink and adds that touch of sophistication.
Place settings.
For the place settings, I set the table with a white distressed wooden charger, a white dinner plate and a blush pink salad plate. The ‘thankful’ place cards can serve as little notes to each person on how much they mean to me.
The flatware.
For more jewel-like tones, I finished the place setting by adding modern, chic gold flatware.
Do you share an annual friendsgiving celebration? I hope today’s tablescape inspires you to create your own!
Cheers to a wonderful start of the holiday season!
