Hello Friends! Hope you all had a nice weekend. Today, I am sharing with you a look at my Christmas Tablescape. It’s about the only room that was (almost) decorated this year! An artificial tree is usually placed and decorated in the dining room and a real tree in the living room but everything that could go wrong, went wrong with having a tree in the living room! I’ll share more of that story on another post. Back to the table styling…
When styling the table this year, I kept it simple but stylish. Since the accent wall in the dining room was recently painted a navy blue (Benjamin Moore “Mysterious”), I knew I wanted a pop of color to offset the dark wall, so for the setting, I chose a wintery white with hints of green to embrace the festive spirit.
When I spotted these navy blue with silver metallic striped place mats, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop to the table setting and it matched the color accents of the room. I mixed and matched different color metals, like gold flatware and silver dinnerware.
I had more flowers left over, so rather than placing them in other vases, I took advantage of the inside of these clear glass taper candleholders and placed the flowers underneath them. By doing this, it created more of a visual display.

What a beautiful table setting! I love your tree and the decorations. The whites and golds really balance the navy wall. Looks so elegant.
