If you caught yesterday’s post, you will notice that I used the same flowers for today’s post. I couldn’t let my props go to waste and since I had already cut the stems off the flowers, I created a solution to keep them fresh and living longer.
If you ever run across needing a quick and affordable table centerpiece, today’s DIY is not only easy but an elegant way set a mood and it’s perfect to display on your table during the warmer months.
Simply fill a glass vase with floating candles and flower blooms submerged in water. You can use this idea not only as a table centerpiece but by creating a smaller version, you can also use it as part of your home decor.
Get creative! You can use different color blooms, in different sizes and you can create a theme by adding rocks and an extra large tropical bloom for a beachy feel. Alternatively, use a tall clear glass cylinder vase and instead of flowers, why not use ferns for a tranquil naturescape feel.
Enjoy creating your own floating flower centerpiece!
