I used to be afraid to work on custom designs for my customers who were looking for that special and personal greeting card because I was concerned I couldn’t deliver what they had in mind. I didn’t want to put myself through the stress so I avoided it. However, as of late – I’ve been accepting custom greeting card requests and I’m thrilled that the end results made my customers happy! I’ve learned that if there is something I cannot produce specifically for my customer, it’s ok to say I’m not able to but can hopefully provide an alternate or similar design.
Question…what do you look for when shopping for a greeting card? Is it the look? Is it the inside message or both? Do you prefer printed illustration cards vs. 3D handmade designs? I would appreciate your opinion on this, so let me know in the comment section below!
Below are two custom (age-specific) birthday cards I had created and are now available for purchase in my shop!
Similar to this ‘Cheers’ champagne bottle card I designed, I thought it would be cute to make a smaller version of the champagne bottle and use it as a cake topper. This card can be customized for any age, perhaps for that special person turning 21?!
This fun and vibrant 40th confetti birthday card is also available to be customized to any age number. Right now, I have age 50 available in my shop!
All of my greeting cards are designed on my signature square folded card that has a slight metallic sheen. Each greeting card comes with a coordinating hand-lined envelope for that added elegance. To shop for these cards or to view a variety of my unique designs for all occasions, head on over to my shop, here! Stay tuned to see a few new Mother’s day cards that will be featured here on the blog, in the coming weeks!
As always, thank you for supporting my small business!! xo

When it comes to creating greeting cards for males, I always find it a bit challenging because I can’t dress up the card with pretty flowers, ribbons and crystals but I was happy how this greeting card came out! It’s clean, simple and sophisticated. Embellished with the word “DAD” and designed a bow-tie, these items are all 3-dimensional and attached to a silver metallic folded card. This card comes with a coordinating envelope and hand-lined with a navy blue liner.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, be sure to pick up a greeting card and let dad know how much he means to you! If you are interested, you can find this greeting card for purchase by clicking, here.
Thanks for visiting! xo

In follow-up to this post, late last week we drove up to New Jersey to stay with my sister (thanks sis!) for a biopsy procedure I had scheduled. I will spare you the details but I’m happy to say its over! I think with all the nerves, long hours traveling and our minds consumed with “what’s next” has us feeling a little sluggish and a sick bug might have made its way to our house. As much as we would all like to keep it moving, sometimes our bodies will let us know when it is time to take it easy and rest.
A sincere heartfelt THANKS to all my family, closest friends, and dear acquaintances for your constant support, well wishes and prayers!!! I am forever grateful for your kindness, your generosity, and encouraging words! And to this little girl, you amaze me with your sweet heart!
When it comes to finding inspiration for creating my greeting cards, I don’t have to look very far but my own closet! As I get older, I find that I can’t wear heels as much as I used to (and not for a long period of time for that matter) but that doesn’t stop me from admiring a classy and stylish shoe! You can see more of my shoe obsession here! Seeing a shoe embellished with gems, crystals, a brooch or any other pretties – it’s like jewelry for your shoes and it has me reciting Carrie Bradshaw’s… “Hello Lover”!!
If you could choose, what style shoe would be on your greeting card? Are you drawn more to a classic styled shoe or are embellished pumps more of your thing?
Below are a few heels that I’m currently coveting. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be #1 – Nine West “Glittering” shoe. This shoe has a sleek satin front with an embellished crystal heel and a gold glittered sole! This shoe to me combines the look of classic meets glam.
