Seasons seem to always have an impact on companies and spring is definitely one of them, as they infuse their products with flower-inspired designs, patterns and colors. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite nature-inspired designs below that you may like as well.

Shop the Post:

1. Kimono Style. Knee length Robe. Ebba Amongst Love – adorned in pretty garden hues, this  feminine robe is definitely spring-in-bloom inspired.

2. HELEEN Hanging Gardens Print cross body bag – resembling watercolor art, this bag is ideal for a spring outing.

3. ILLUME Cloverleaf Nectar Laurel Glass Candle – this ombre-colored candle holder reminds me of the color of green grass. Twist of mandarin and crisp anjou pear alive in a verdant, blossoming field of mimosa and clover, and warmed with calming sandalwood.

4. Set of 4 Bloom Plates – these bloom plates will enhance your spring-inspired tabletop.

Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? I just got back at 1AM this morning from an overnight stay in NY for my treatment and it was a long day. I’m happy to be home and I’m hoping for good days ahead with very little side effects. It will be a busy weekend as we are remodeling our master bedroom. My sister has been helping me with decor, furniture and paint options (more on that soon – can’t wait to share it with you)! You can see some sneak peeks via snapchat (roseangellopez). This will be a busy weekend as we prep for the painters to come in next week. Wishing you a wonderful weekend and here are a few of my favorite finds from around the web….

This Spaghetti with Sicilian Pesto is making me hungry.

We are planning on changing the paint color of our front entry door and I was contemplating on whether or not I should paint the inside of the door the same color. This front entry space is telling me yes!

Here are some creative dessert recipes using plain old toast.

Speaking of toast, I enjoyed eating this delicious avocado toast with a poached egg from The Smith restaurant NYC.

Inspired by this: COLOR MATCH-UP

Whenever you host an event, do you ever match the color scheme of your tablescape? Admittedly, I sometimes do! Sometimes I don’t even realize I do. I will however, match the occasion or the theme of the event I am hosting at home. So if I am hosting a spring brunch for example, I will wear something light and feminine.

Today, I have rounded up a couple of color match-up inspiration for your Tuesday morning! You may think these pictures came from the same events but they didn’t. They are all entirely from different events but it was fun finding inspiration to match-up these colors…

FLORAL INSPIRED RECIPES: Lavender Latte & Rose Water and Almond Madeleines

Over the weekend, while making breakfast, I was watching a cooking show and saw how Madeleines are made. Excited that it wasn’t as hard as I had always imagined it to be, I set out to find a recipe that had a little more flavor; one with rose water, perhaps, since it is one of my favorite flavors. Behold, I found a recipe on Pinterest from Lindsay of Fleur de Sel for her Rose Water and Almond Madeleines!  To accompany these delightful petite treats, I looked in my cupboard of baking essentials and found a bottle of whole French Blue Lavender and thought a latte with lavender sounds like it would be delicious. I found this lavender latte recipe by Kasey of Turntable Kitchen and I decided to top it off with freshly made whipped cream, for good measure! Between the rose water and the lavender, my kitchen had a wonderful aroma of floral scents. The combination of the latte and the madeleines was, oh so good! I love it when I find great recipes to add to my entertaining file and on a cold day, enjoying these treats by the fire was wonderful!
