Happy Friday, guys! I’m thrilled that the long-awaited spring weather is finally here – at least I hope so! The weather has changed so drastically from day-to-day, one never knows. I plan on soaking up the sun and enjoying the outdoors this weekend. One thing on my to-do list is to stop by Target tomorrow to check-out the Hunter rain boots. I’m also planning on shooting some fun content for next week – stay tuned for that!
For today’s favorite finds, I’m sharing a few items I picked up last week from my favorite store ever…. HomeGoods! I thoroughly enjoy wandering the aisles – I often find the just the right decor piece or entertaining essential for our home. You can’t beat the affordable prices too! I scored great pieces and it just so happened that all the items I purchased are all pink.
For as long as I can remember, faux flowers were not my thing. However, faux flowers are coming a long way from looking and feeling like the real thing. These gorgeous pink peonies are not made out of silk. These peony stems came in a pack of three. I had to cut the stems so that I can fit it nicely in a smaller vase.
I regret not getting another bouquet so that I can make a larger arrangement. Perhaps I’ll get lucky and find some more!
Another great find at HomeGoods are these pink ombre drinking glasses. They are so pretty with the gold rim and are perfect for entertaining in the spring and summer months. Can’t wait to use them on a tablescape! If you are interested in these gold-foil cocktail napkins, check out this post.
How stunning is this pink alabaster 2-tier dessert serving tray?! Perfect to use for tea parties or showcasing sweet confections.
I also found this pink vase. You can’t see it in this picture but the outer opening of the vase is cut to resemble a bloomed tulip.
Do you have a favorite item from today’s post? Which item do you hope to find at your local HomeGoods?
Have a great weekend, friends!

Happy Friday, friends! There may be snow on the ground today where we live but I’ve got spring on the mind! I’m counting down the days for fresh flowers and green grass. For today’s weekly ‘Friday’s Favorite Finds’ series, I rounded-up my favorite wreaths that are so pretty and life-like. Any one of these wreaths would be beautifully hung on either your front door, window or interior wall!
Brighten up your home and swap out your winter wreath for a at touch of springtime cheer! I curated wreaths by color, from shades of white and green, pink, violet and blue, and yellow and oranges. Take a look and tell me which one is your favorite in the comments section below!
If you’re a follower of my blog, than you are familiar with my monthly series on ‘The Many Uses’. I just love when I come across a decor accessory for the home and can envision using it in more than one way. The benefit of this is, you can repurpose a decor piece rather than buying something new. How many times do we see something in the store and don’t buy it because we think to ourselves that we already have something similar? For example, today I’m talking about The Many Uses of the trending Gold and Glass Shadow Box and while its primary purpose is to hold jewelry and/or mementoes, I found three other ways you can use this item!
I recently found this gold and glass shadow box at HomeGoods and I liked that it had two drawers verses the box with lid that is more popular. Like with fashion, decor accessories are also a part of the ever-changing cycle of trends. These modern shadow boxes have been inspired by the antique ones ladies used back in the day to store their jewelry or keepsakes. Since I have a drawer dedicated for my jewelry, I don’t necessarily need it for that reason. Although, I still wanted to buy it because I knew the perfect use for it!
Whether you have a vanity or not, you can display your most used makeup in a convenient shadow box. The glass allows you to easily grab what you need and the gold frame always adds that glam factor!
I find that when I’m working at my desk, I always enjoy having treats readily available for me to grab…chocolates are my weakness! Since this box is so pretty, I knew it would make a great complement to my well-dressed desk (when it’s not messy, that is). I get to store my favorite chocolates in the drawers, like these Ghirardelli squares. Have you guys tried their newest flavor for Valentine’s? White Chocolate Creme Brulee…obsessed!
What a great way to present your guests tea flavor options than in a gold and glass shadow box! If you are a frequent tea drinker, you can easily display this shadow box on your kitchen counter or a dining room buffet. Use a tray to curate all your tea essentials like the shadow box, your teapot, at least 4 tea cups and saucers, sugar bowl, creamer pitcher, and tea stirring spoons.
I hope I’ve inspired you to look pass what an item is intended for and how you can use it in many different ways. Below are a few shadow box options, if you’re on the hunt for one!

Happy Friday, everyone! I don’t know about you but I am so ready for the wintry snow to go and for the spring season to come. At least I can sprinkle some signs of spring in my home decor. Check out my round-up of favorite finds for this week, which does just that!
Spring is in the air the moment you walk into the Pier 1 store. They had a wonderful display of decorative reed diffusers with pretty faux flower embellishments. It’s perfect to display in a bedroom or bathroom. I picked up this blue hydrangea diffuser that smells amazing! The fragrance boasts notes of violets, lilacs, jasmine and roses resting on a blanket of ambered musk.
At first sight, I had to get this Miles Small Marble Bowl with its long-legged brass bird, standing tall over a white marble bowl. This bowl is so versatile – it can be used for so many things! I might just have to include this in my ‘The Many Uses’ blog series!
I recall a few years back when I posted one of my blog series called – ‘The Many Uses’ and I’m bringing it back, y’all! Cause after all, I’m always finding myself using a decor accessory or kitchen essential in a different way than the original purpose it’s intended for.
Today, I’m sharing the many uses on bar essentials, primarily the ‘Wine Rack’ and a ‘Wine Bucket’. Keep reading to see how you can use these items in different ways around your house!
‘The Wine Rack’
While the product label described this as a wine rack, truth be told when I first laid eyes on it, I automatically thought it was a magazine rack. I love the gold frame detail and acrylic panels – perfect for showcasing guest towels, a sleep mask, and toiletries your guests may have forgotten!
‘The Wine Bucket’
When it comes to entertaining, I like to use items that relate to the theme. So if I’m hosting a wine and cheese party, I’ll have more than one wine bottle out for guests to choose from. Therefore, using this slender wine bucket with handles is a great way to display a flower arrangement – coordinates perfectly with the theme. Another way to use this wine bucket holder is to store your cold ice. Guests can help themselves when mixing their own cocktail of choice!
I’d like to know – what are some of the ways you would use these two bar accessories? Let me know in the comments section below!
